Republic Act 7277 Philippine School for the Deaf

This act is purposely for the deaf. Every one of us is unique and i agree with this law. I think that deaf people should have equal rights to education just like other people. Not all of us are perfect and we should embrace our differences. I support this act to spread the fact that people should respect other's uniqueness and to support the deaf. Because i believe that everyone has a right for education. No one should be deprived from having a chance to be educated.

1994 Magna Carta for Persons with Disabilities

This law is for people with disabilities. The Act states the rights and priviliges of the people with disabilities, wherein the state shall provide equal rights and policies. To avoid discrimination and provide opportunities to develop their skills in their own right.

Back To The Future

Back to the Future is one of the many movies that i absolutely adored. Ah, this brings back memories. Your mind will be totally blown away. You will question yourself, "what is the future?". It makes you think twice about what the future holds. You constantly drift into your subconcious and imagine what the future looks like. After watching the movie, i felt satisfied. There are no other words to define what i felt for the movie. I strongly recommend this movie for everyone.

MyPhone

MyPhone is a Philippine mobile phone brand by Solid Group Incorporated, the local distributor of Sony Philippines. In my opinion, i think this is one of the best phones that Philippines has produced. I used to own a MyPhone back in 8th grade. It was one of those qwerty phones that had a ball in the middle as a cursor. It was just an ordinary phone, i actually find it similar to other leading brands like Blackberry, Nokia and Samsung. It felt premium in the hands and is very light. The best about this is, it is very cheap! I recommend this brand for people who are on a budget but at the same time, looking for a nice phone.

Everyday

Everyday is a yound adult fiction book written by David Levithan. It was published in 2012 by Knopf Books for Young Readers, and is recommended for ages 14-18. Prequel Six Earlier Days (available only digitally) and companion Another Day  complete this trilogy in the world Levithan creates for his readers. Everyday is a New York Times best seller. I strongly recommend this book for all bookworms out there. This is absolutely worth the read i promise you will not be disappointed.

Afternoon Meal of the Rice Workers

I think this painting is undoubtedly exquisite. I find it very meaningful. I love how Fernando Amorsolo painted every detail of it. In my own interpretation, i think the painter is trying to tell us how hard a life of a farmer is. As you can see in the picture, there is a woman holding a child and another woman cooking in an "old fashioned" way in a pot. While at the sidelines, there are other farmers working their butts off. What i'm saying is, a life of a farmer is hard. This painting should be shown to many people so they can understand that life is not always easy. If you want something, you should work and strive for it.

Kenkoy

Fransisco "kenkoy" Harabas is a Philippine comics character created by Romualdo Ramos and cartoonist and illustrator Tony Velasquez in 1929. Velasquez continued the strip for decades after Ramos' death in 1932. Kenkoy was seminal to Philippine comics and thus Velasquez is considered the founding father of the industry. The term Kenkoy has entered the filipino language to mean a joker, jester, or a hilarious person.

Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty is located on Liberty island, in the New York harbor USA. The Statue of Liberty commemorates the American Declaration of Independence and was a gift from the people of France. It was Dedicated on October 28 1886. The Statue of Liberty was designed by french sculptor Frederic Bartholdi. The female form represented by the sculptor is based on Libertas, the Roman goddess of liberty.

Death of Cleopatra

Death of Cleopatra is another one of Juan Luna's work of art. It is a painting made in 1881. The famous painting was a silver medalist or second prize winner during the 1881 National Exposition of Fine Arts in Madrid.

Spolarium

Spolarium was painted by Juan Luna. His Spolarium was all about blooded bodies of gladiators who were drawn as slaves; and dragged away from the wide and powerful arena as they attempted to fight their Roman oppressors, with their own precious and God given lives. In addition, these slaves on this world renowned painting of Juan Luna were physically stripped of their clothing in order to gratify the lewd and devilish contempt of those Roman oppressors.
I find this painting very symbolic and saddening. I find it violent and vulgar but at the same time i'm amazed by how it was painted very detail.

The Alchemist

This novel tells the tale of Santiago, a boy who has a dream and has the courage to follow it. After listening to "the signs" the boy ventures in his personal, Ulysses-like journey of exploration and discovery, symbolically searching for a hidden treasure located near the pyramids of Egypt.
"The Alchemist", is an exciting novel the bursts with optimism; it is the kind of novel that tells you everything is possible as long as you really want it to happen. That may sound like an oversimplified version of new-age philosophy and mysticism, but as Coelho states; "Simple things are the most valuable and only wise people appreciate them."

The Diary of a Young Girl

Discovered in the attic which she spent the last years of her life, Anne Frank's remarkable diary has since become a world's classic- a powerful reminder of the horrors of war and an eloquent testament to the human spirit.
Anne Franks is a Jewish girl who has to go in hiding during World War II to avoid the Nazis. Together with seven others she hides in the secret annex on the Prinsengracht 263 in Amsterdam. After almost 2 years of hiding they are discovered and deported to concentration maps.
After reading this journal i had a whole new perspective about the world and about wars. It opened my eyes to the fact that wars not only affects the country's stability but the people who are living in it. The people who are fighting for their lives.

The Notebook

The Notebook is a contemporary love story set in the pre- and post World War II era. Noah and Allie spend a wonderful summer together, but her family and socio-economic realities of the time prevent them from being together. Although Noah attempts to keep in contact with Allie after they are forced to separate, his letters go unanswered. Eventually, Noah professes his undying and eternal love in one final letter.
This book is one of my all time fave. I have deep affection for this book. This is one of the many books i have read that made me cry. This story gave me butterflies in my stomach and heartache. I strongly recommend this book for those who love romance-fiction. This will truly touch your hearts.

Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare early in his career about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately reconcile their feuding families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and, along with Hamlet, is one of his most frequently performed plays.
Out of all William Shakespeare's books, I like this the most. What is so striking about this play is that despite it's extraordinary setting (one perhaps reflecting Elizabethan attitudes about hot-blooded Italians), it has become the quintessential story of young love. I recommend this book for all romance lovers out there.

Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes is the world's only consulting detective. Money and prestige don't interest him, simply the chance to flex his intellectual muscles and practice his unique method of deduction are enough. I personally love Sherlock Holmes books because i love how it gives me the chills and suspense. I like the setting of the story and it gives us readers the excitement we yearn for. I recommend this story for readers who love mystery and adventure. This is definitely worth the read!
